Last Monday, our ICT teacher gave us an assignment of creating an "infographic" about the ethical and legal issues we learned in last sessions. I had many topics to choose such as plagiarism, copyright and fair use, safety and privacy, netiquette, or cyberbullying. I have decided on cyberbullying since I have seen its effects and consequences with own eyes. In quarantine, I was on internet all day long since I had nothing to do. I had many friends, experiences and fun times but it was not always clouds and sunshine. Even though I hadn't experienced cyberbullying, I have had friends that were victims of it. Some did not care at all since they just block the people that were responsible of cyberbullying or just close their PC, but that doesn't mean everybody is like that. Emotional people are usually gets affected the most since they are vulnerable emotionally. Some got bullied by how they looked, weighed, how they played the game and even from how they sound. The pattern I recognized is bullies always had their insecurities and problems, bullying is the cope mechanism they preferred. When you point out their problems, they rage, breakdown even go crazy. Thanks to this week's assignment, I have remembered those days and I wrote my own personal takes on my infographic. Long story short, I have enjoyed this assignment more than others since it was personal to me.
Anyways, what do you think of cyberbullying? Make sure to comment your ideas! See you all next time!
